Ohana Church Priorities

At Ohana Church We Exist to Love People to the Beauty of Christ!

The Gospel

The Gospel changes everything. We have all sinned against God. We are imperfect, and we are underserving of God’s love. Thank God, that Jesus did what no person could do. He lived a perfect life, and He sacrificed it on the cross for you and I. Because of God’s mercy and grace, we receive what we could never earn, eternal life in Christ. The Gospel reveals to us our wickedness, and God’s willingness to rescue us through Christ!

The Ohana

Ohana in Hawaiian means Family. We believe the church is not a building, or an event. It’s a family, specifically the family of God. The Gospel not only marks us as children of God, but also brothers and sisters of one another. This means we desire to be honest and real about our struggles as we seek support from God and others.

The Mission

When we become followers of Christ through adoption we become the body of Christ. It’s now our role as disciples of Christ to take the message of Christ to the ends of the earth. Just as our physical body needs expertise in order to be healthy, the body of Christ must exercise itself through vision to avoid growing stagnant.

Our DNA

Every church usually has a set of deeply rooted values or characteristics that define it. We often describe’s our church’s DNA as being “Gospel Centered.” This means we believe the gospel radically influences every area of our lives. There are three primary areas of the Christian life – GATHER, GROW, and GO. Each area allows us to respond in different ways’

Because of the finish work of Christ, we have been empowered by the Holy Spirit of God to Gather in worship, Grow in fellowship, and Go together on mission. We believe these are marks of a healthy gospel centered church that honors the Lord.
